yarn bowl with a skeleton hand
yarn bowl with a skeleton hand
If this yarn bowl had a subtitle, it would be: "You can have my yarn when you pry it from my cold, dead hands!"
Do you want a beautiful container for your yarn while you're knitting that keeps your yarn safe from pets and kids, and looks pretty while doing it? JaMpdx's yarn bowl is the solution for you!
Porcelain bowl and lid are decorated with a handpainted design of a skeleton hand clutching a skein of yarn. Painted on using underglazes and watercolor techniques, this design will not rub or wash off. The cut-out curving swirl will guide your yarn out of the bowl, and you can put your needles in the small holes when you are taking a break. Because only the lid is carved, the bowl can be used for soup, ice cream or other tasty things when you are between projects.
The bowl by itself measures 5 1/2" across and 3 1/2" tall, and with the lid on the yarn bowl measures 6 1/4" across and 5" tall. It should easily hold a 100 gram ball of yarn.
