Our honeycomb series is a tribute to our favorite pollinators. These wheel-thrown mugs are embellished with swaths of honeycomb texture with a honey-inspired underglaze brushed on to enhance the appearance of the texture. Each piece is unique, with variations in color, placement of texture, and movement in the clay.

• small mug: measures about 3” x 2.5” and holds about 6 oz

• regular mug: measures about 3.5” x 4” and holds about 12 oz

• large mug: measures about 4” x 4” and holds about 20 oz

• cup: measures 3.75” x 3.5” and holds about 8 oz (this piece is made using slip casting techniques)

• cocktail cup: measures about 3.75”x3.5”and holds about 8 oz

• martini cup: measures about 3.75”x3 and holds about 8 oz

• tea cup: measures about 3”x4” and holds about 8 oz

All pieces (except for the cup) are thrown on a potter’s wheel using a fine porcelain clay, and decorated with slices of honeycomb. Microwave and dishwasher safe, although handwashing is also totally fine.
