This workshop is open to all, but will be especially suited for potters! Join us to learn basic clay piping skills and practice with your hands. This 2-hour workshop is a good follow-up to our demo-only workshop, as you will be able to try out using cake decorating tools to pipe lines, swirls and flowers. This session will not include the more in-depth technical conversation, but will get you started with the practice you’ll need to effectively use the information from the demo session. You will practice, but not make anything to take home or fire. You will receive a “clay piping tool kit” in this workshop so you can continue your practice in your own studio.

• 2-hour workshop

• Workshops will be held Saturday May 31st at 1:30 pm and Saturday June 14th at 2:30pm

• All supplies and materials are provided, but feel free to wear your own apron

• Clay materials are lead-free and non-toxic when fully fired. There is no irritation from skin contact, but do not put any of it in your mouth during the class.

• Limited to 6 people per class. We reserve the right to cancel the workshop if we don’t get enough sign ups.
